The ballot for tickets to Led Zeppelin's momentous reformation show at London's O2 Arena was announced today.
Over one million people entered, but only 20,000 people will get to see the first Led Zeppelin show since Live Aid in 1985.The band are reforming to pay tribute to the late Ahmet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records and the man who discovered the band.
Fans face tough ticketing restrictions. No tickets will be sent out, only the person who bought the tickets and their guest must be present in person on the day or the day before to get a wristband and they must show photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets.
They will then only be admitted with the ticket AND the wristband.
Passwords to buy tickets have already surfaced on eBay. Many appearing for $US450 and heading up to more than $US2000 - and this is just for the right to buy the £125 plus booking fee tickets.
Also playing on the bill will be Pete Townsend, Bill Wyman and Paulo Nutini.
Congratulations if you are one of the lucky few who got the tickets. I think I speak for the rest of us in the ballot when I say WE HATE YOU.
