Producer, performer and member of N.E.R.D,, Pharrell Williams, has signed on with the ABC network in the USA as a consulting producer.
Williams will work on the show Limelight.Limelight is about a group of students at a performing arts school in New York.
Williams told Variety magazine that "This project reminded me a lot of my own life growing up, coming from a different environment where we stuck out for having abilities that we later learned, after attending a school like this, were actually gifts and talents," Williams told Variety. "The moral DNA for this project is that it's OK to dream, but to bring it to fruition requires hard work."
Pharrell has previously worked on Fastlane, and the Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll shows.
Limelight is currently in development for ABC.
