Singer/Songwriter Lior has announced his next album 'Corner of an Endless Road' will be released in February.
After releasing the debut 'Autumn Flow' in 2005, Lior was quick to gather three ARIA nominations and a nod from Triple J for a nomination for Album of the Year.He describes the new record as Led Zeppelin jamming with Nick Drake".
In a statement he says "The tracks making up 'Corner of an Endless Road' had time to breathe during the recording process and often took us to unexpected, demanding places. These new songs are intensely personal and candid, and my producer, Franc Tetaz, and I worked at matching the emotional range of the songs with musical choices that intimately represent who I am, as a musician and a person. We collaborated with artists such as Sia and oud player- Jospeh Tawadros, as well as using string orchestras and brass ensembles. 'Corner of an Endless Road' is a true representation of my musical landscape; think Led Zeppelin jamming with Nick Drake at a teahouse somewhere in the Middle East."
In November, the song 'Heal Me' will be released as the first single from the record.
'Corner of an Endless Road' will be released independently on February 9, 2008.
