Brooklyn-based five-piece The National have announced their long-awaited debut Australian tour.
Their latest album 'Boxer' has been on high rotation here in the Undercover office since its release earlier this year, and local fans have been patiently waiting for a tour announcement since the band released their breakthrough full-length 'Alligator' in 2005.Melbourne and Brisbane dates have been announced for January next year, with Sydney dates to be confirmed. It's likely that their Sydney appearances will coincide with the Sydney Festival, which runs from January 5-26. The Festival Program is announced on November 1.
