The legendary Latin jazz trombonist Generoso Jimenez has died in Miami at the age of 90.
He moved to Miami from his home country of Cuba in 2003, and was in 2002 nominated for a Latin Grammy for his album, 'Generoso, Que Bueno Toca Usted'. The title, meaning "Generoso, how well you play", is a quote from Cuban singing great Beny Mor??, with whom Jimenez famously collaborated.His most recent collaboration was with Gloria Estefan on her '90 Millas' album, released in the United States this week.
