Kaiser Chiefs' bassist Simon Rix has labelled pop starlet Pink as "idiotic" and a "practical joke".
According to The Sun, Rix said, "She's just crap. Fact is, Pink stinks. Take a look at that song Dear Mr President. It's just terrible. The lyrics are idiotic."Pink is like a practical joke being played on the world. Can't say I love the girl."
The song, 'Dear Mr. President' is an anti-George Dubya Bush song and features a video showing poor and sick children.
Pink's efforts at left wing promotion have been taken less than seriously in the past, when she lashed out at Australian farmers for mulesing their sheep to protect them against flystrike, then later apologised for her knee jerk reaction.
What do you think? Is knee-jerk emotionally charged activism worthwhile in order to get a cause some media attention?
In other less controversial news, Jon Bon Jovi told Glamour magazine that Robbie Williams "couldn't fill a bar", and neither could Oasis and mused that David Beckham was "past his prime".
Perhaps everyone with a name should stop whinging about each other for fear of ending up sounding like every artist mentioned in this article.
