Britney Spears was in Las Vegas this weekend for the opening of the LAX Nightclub within the Luxor Hotel.
The popstar was generating her burst of activity at the start of her publicity campaign for her forthcoming album.Spears did not perform at the opening party for LAX, but the DJ spun her new single 'Gimme More' for the crowd as she walked down the red carpet more than 2 hours late.
Britney is reported to have been paid $100,000 for the appearance and was due on the red carpet at 10pm, but did not leave Los Angeles airport until 11pm. The singer spent all of 15 seconds of the red carpet before going into the club.
Other celebs attending the opening included Criss Angel, Dave Navarro and Nickey Hilton.
