Adult contemporary folkie Clare Bowditch announces her third album.
Last year's Best Female Artist ARIA Award-winner returns with her new album 'The Moon Looked On' after a ridiculously busy period in the interim. Bowditch married her boyfriend and musical collaborator Marty Brown, gave birth to twin boys and wrote and recorded the new album.The first single to be released, 'When The Lights Go Down', is a collaboration between Bowditch and Brown telling the story of a tragic love reconciled. The single will be released digitally on September 8 with the album to follow in October.
Bowditch is also curating the Chill Island Festival on Victoria's Phillip Island. She will perform with her backing band The Feeding Set alongside handpicked acts Paul Kelly, Gotye and US moppet Ben Kweller. Tickets for the album launch tour go on sale September 5.
