Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has been forced to reschedule two shows in Venice after a structural flaw was discovered in the stage just hours before he was due to go on.
The shows that were supposed to be over this past weekend on August 4 and 5 will now take place next weekend on August 11 and 12.A message from www.davidgilmour.com said "Just before the sound check of today's planned show in the Piazza San Marco, Venice, a structural defect was discovered in the scaffolding, rendering the whole structure unsafe. Therefore, regrettably, the shows scheduled for today and tomorrow cannot go ahead."
Tickets for the August 4 show will now be valid on August 11, and tickets for the August 5 show will now be valid on August 12.
