Neil Young will release his new album 'Chrome Dreams II' in October.
The title is a nod to the 1977 unreleased Neil Young album 'Chrome Dreams'. Songs from the unreleased album were all eventually released over the subsequent albums 'American Stars 'n' Bars', 'Freedom', 'Rust Never Sleeps', 'Comes A Time' and 'Hawks and Doves'.The line-up for the new album cuts across various Young bands and genres. The album features Rick Rosas, Ben Keith and Ralph Molina.
'Chrome Dreams II' features more than an hour of music, including two epics clocking in at 18 minutes 30 seconds and 13 minutes.
Young's last studio album 'Living With War' came out in 2006.
