Radiohead's much-anticipated seventh album won't be released until next year, a spokesman for the band has said.
Whilst recording for the yet-to-be-named follow-up to 2003's 'Hail To The Thief' is apparently finished, the band are yet to sign a new record deal. Their previous deal with EMI ended with 'Hail To The Thief'.Producer Nigel Godrich posted a lo-fi clip on the band's dot-com in June, which hinted toward an upbeat release featuring lush strings, plaintive piano and even some grimy guitar.
The sampled tracks are listed as 'Open Pick', 'All I Need', '?(New Song?, I Froze Up?, Burn The Witch?)', 'Down Is The New Up', 'Arpeggi' and 'Bangers N' Mash'.
