Oasis' Liam and Noel Gallagher haven't just been invited to a family reunion, they've been invited to an attempt at the world's largest family reunion - one where every Gallagher in the world is invited.
The reunion will take place in County Donegal, Ireland, the homeland of the Gallagher clan. The name Gallagher can be traced back to ancient Irish times."We hope also to establish another claim to fame by setting a Guinness World Record ™ of "the Largest Same Name Gathering - Last Name". This takes place on Sunday 9th and we need all you Gallaghers to join us for that event to establish a record that will stand for many a year," the Gallagher clan say on their official website.
In other Oasis news, the band are gearing up to release a live DVD, 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' at the end of October.
It will be their first live film since 2000's 'Familiar To Millions'.
