Rumours are circulating that Kylie Minogue will announce a new Australian tour.
Twenty years ago, a slight poppet who played a feisty mechanic on an Australian soap opera, launched a stellar career with a cover of a Little Eva hit 'Locomotion'. Her version topped charts in Australia in 1987 and Canada, Europe and South African charts in 1988, and going top ten in Switzerland, the UK, Germany, France, The Netherlands and the US.While it was meant to be a secret, news leaked last week of a star-studded 20th Anniversary party for our Kylie. Rumours emerged that the guest list will include former beau Jason Donovan, as well as music moguls Michaels Gudinski and Parisi, who will travel to the party, hosted in London.
More rumours have been circulating that Minogue will discuss a new Australian tour with Gudinski. It's been only six months since she finally honoured her promise to the Australian public on the Showgirl Homecoming Tour. But Melbourne's Herald-Sun hints that she may return by year's end.
The party will take place on Friday August 3, with an announcement expected soon after.
