Christina Aguilera has postponed tonight's show at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena because of a cold.
The singer went ahead with last night's show despite telling the audience that she almost had to cancel it as well. However, on doctor's orders, tonight's show has been put back 24 hours.
In a statement, her management says "a doctor confirmed late last night that the singer was running a fever and advised her to rest".
"A number of Christina's touring party have come down with bad colds and the flu over the past few days as the Christina's Back To Basics tour draws to the end of an extensive World Tour".
Those unable to come back for the Sunday show will be given a full refund.
Christina's 'Back To Basics' world tour is coming to an end and it was unfortunate for Melbourne fans that Christina wasn't working at full capacity last night.
The show itself is a full-on theatrical production. Christina brings the circus to life as she performs pretty much the 'Back To Basics' album instead of her greatest hits.
A few of the oldies are weaved into the set. She did 'Dirrty', 'Lady Marmalade' and 'Beautiful' but the crowd pleaser 'Oh Mother' was cut from the set, presumably because of her ill-health.
It's a big show. More than 20 dancers and musicians perform with Xtina over the 90 minute performance.
Promoter's Frontier Touring advises that "Fans with tickets to attend tonight's concert are now scheduled to see Christina Aguilera on Sunday 29 July at Rod Laver Arena. Their current ticket and seat location will still apply and they do not need to do anything bar turn up with their original ticket.
Those unable to attend the rescheduled date may secure a refund from Ticketek 132 849.
Christina's last Australian show will be on Monday in Melbourne. The tour then heads to New Zealand for two shows at Vector Arena in Auckland on August 2 and 3.
