Hip hop legend and all round super-personality Snoop Dogg is lending his ear to unsigned acts entering the Independent Music Awards for 2007.
Dogg, who's real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr, will be one of seventeen industry and artist judges who will listen to a number of artists vying to win a leg up in the ever so tough American music industry.Other judges include Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance, Chuck Comeau of Simple Plan, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Suzanne Vega, David Wilkes, Vice President of A&R at Koch Records and Lior Goldenberg, producer of artists such as Alanis Morrisette, Sheryl Crowe and Ringo Starr.
Categories for entries cover a whole spectrum of music from rock to electronica to jazz to folk to quality of merch to music videos to best website or band poster.
