Christina Aguilera's father has apparently confirmed the rumour that his daughter is expecting her first child.
The racy pop starlet has been married to music executive Jordan Bratman since November 2005. Rumours that they were expecting began to circulate when they were spotted leaving New York's Maternal Fetal Medicine Association on June 7.Aguilera's father Fausto confirmed the news to reporters, telling them, "I'm so excited. I want Christina to achieve all her goals. I wish her all the happiness in the world."
Whilst the couple are yet to release a statement, another source said, "Jordan was blown away! He told her the baby was the greatest present ever! Christina's always been maternal. There's no doubt Christina will make a fabulous mother." It was Bratman's 30th birthday on July 4.
Aguilera is about to embark on the Australian and New Zealand leg of her 'Back To Basics' tour. It kicks off at Auckland's Vector Arena next Wednesday July 11.
