No Doubt reunited briefly on the weekend, when the band members joined Gwen Stefani on-stage at her hometown solo show in Orange County, California.
Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young replaced Stefani's touring band during the show's finale, performing 'Just A Girl' and 'Spiderwebs', as well as their cover of Talk Talk's 'It's My Life'.The performance has fuelled rumours that the band will reunite in a more permanent form in the not-too-distant future. Kanal, Dumont and Young have confirmed that they been working on new material for the band, whilst Stefani said in February, "I got an idea in my head about what we could do and now that's all I can think about - doing a No Doubt record."
Dupont speculated earlier this month, "Gwen has a busy world tour all year, so obviously most of our writing this year would happen either separately or during a few off days here and there."
