Hip hop legend Ice Cube brings his classics to Australian stages in August.
O'Shea Jackson, better known to millions of fans around the world as Ice Cube, is a gangsta rap pioneer. Alongside his fellow Niggaz With Attitude, Ice Cube helped revolutionised rap, bringing the party sounds right back down to the streets with ultra-gritty stories of racism, violence and drug use.Since storming out on the group, he's been equally as successful and controversial. His highly-influential 1990 debut 'AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted' was topped by 1992's 'The Predator', the first album to debut atop both the mainstream and R&B charts. As recently as last year, Ice Cube's eighth album 'Laugh Now, Cry Later', debuted at number four in the US.
Now this rap pioneer, occasional actor and all around hip hop icon visits Australia at the end of August and the start of September. He'll hit the East Coast and Perth with his Westside Connection partner-in-crime William Calhoun aka WC.
