Britney Spears' lawyers get three unflattering radio station promo billboards removed.
The billboards, in Tampa, Florida, were advertisements for WFLZ FM's 'The MJ Morning Show'. They featured host Todd Schnitt and a picture of the infamous 'bald Britney' accompanied by the phrases "Total nut jobs", "Shock therapy" and "Certifiable".AP reports that Spears' attorneys sent a letter to Clear Channel, who own the radio station, which accused them of "offensive, unauthorized commercial exploitation" of their client and demanded that the billboards be taken down.
Clear Channel spokeswoman Michele Clarke confirmed that the billboards have now been taken down. Program host Schnitt told the St Petersberg Times that "Clear Channel has removed the billboards, and I'm not happy with that."
In a hint to her incidental music career, Spears has posted a list of potential titles for her next album on her dot com, and is asking fans to vote for one of the five. They are: 'Omg is Like Lindsay Lohan Like Okay Like', 'What If The Joke Is On You', 'Down Boy', 'Integrity' and 'Dignity'.
Since 'Dignity' was Hilary Duff's last album, Integrity are a hardcore band and 'Down Boy' was a single for Australian poppet Holly Valance, the joke must be on us.
