The album features a duet with Mandy Moore on Birds and Bees, as well as appearances from Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, members of Rooney and Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek.
Good Charlotte were the subject of one of Ben's previous hits 'Catch My Disease'.Ben has also written and recorded an ode to his personal hero titled 'What Would Jay-Z Do'.
John Alagia was producer. He also worked with John Mayer and Dave Matthews.
'Ripe' is Ben's 6th solo album. It is due September.
