Following the earlier announcement in Undercover that Linkin Park will headline Tokyo's Live Earth event comes news that Rihanna will also perform on the bill.
Japan will be the only country with two Live Earth Events. An alternative concert will take place in Kyoto.Live Earth Tokyo will feature the following acts live on stage:

Linkin Park
Rihanna
Rize
And others to be announced at a later date.
The special Kyoto broadcast event will feature the following acts live on stage:

Rip Slyme
Yellow Magic Orchestra
And others to be announced at a later date.
The Live Earth global event will take place on seven continents on July 7th.
The event will open in Sydney, Australia.
Official Live Earth cities are Tokyo, Japan; Shanghai, China; Johannesburg, South Africa; London, United Kingdom; Hamburg, Germany; Istanbul, Turkey; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, before concluding in New York, United States.
