Legendary British hard rock band The Cult is currently recording their first album in six years in London with one time Killing Joke member and renowned producer, Youth.
The album will be the band's first for Roadrunner Records. The band are gearing up for a European tour in support of The Who, which will include the occasional headline show along the way.
The current lineup includes just two original members, vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy. They are joined by John Tempesta (Testament, White Zombie) on drums, Mike Dimkitch on rhythm guitar and Chris Wyse on bass.
Although the band formed in 1981, no one line up has been together for more than two years.
