Footage has been released of the final moments of Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, the TLC member killed after her car crashed in Honduras in 2002.
The distressing footage was taken from inside the crowded Mitsubishi Pajero, with Lopes driving. She is seen passing a tin can emblazoned with the Coca Cola logo to people in the back seat. All of a sudden, and for reasons unknown, the car begins to swerve toward a ditch. Lopes screams, and the footage stops.There were seven people in the vehicle, which rolled several times. Lopes was the sole fatality, having been thrown out the window. She was not wearing a seat belt.
The footage was aired on a new documentary, 'Last Days Of Left Eye', which aired on VH1 in America last weekend. Lopes was doing missionary work in Honduras at the time, and was filming a documentary about her work.
