Triple J Unearthed winners Young & Restless have signed with indie label Dot Dash ahead of a national tour in support of their new single.
The five young whippersnappers formed in Canberra in 2005. Now, with some of the group relocated in Melbourne, they're set to release their self-titled full-length on Dot Dash, the home of Wolf & Cub, New Buffalo, Deloris, Ned Collette and Snowman.Recorded by Tom Larkin from Shihad at his Melbourne studio, the album was a self-funded effort. Released in July, it will also be the first 'official' release from the band.
The album will be preceded by the single 'Kapow!' and a seven-date national tour with New Zealand band Cut Off Your Hands (formerly Shaky Hands), who are signed to the Speak n Spell label.
