Audioslave and ex-Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell will join the likes of Carly Simon, Duran Duran and Shirley Bassey by performing the main title song to the upcoming Bond flick 'Casino Royale'.
The track will be called 'You Know My Name', and was co-written with Bond composer David Arnold. 'Casino Royale' is the first Bond film to feature Daniel Craig as the suave secret agent. This will perhaps be the hardest-edged title song in Bond history. Madonna performed the title song for the most recent Bond film, 'Die Another Day'. Elton John infamously derided Madonna's effort as "the worst Bond tune of all time".
Fans of useless trivia will note that this is the first Bond title song since 1983's 'All Time High' for 'Octopussy' which is not the same as the film title. So there ya go.
