Kiss frontman Paul Stanley will launch his collection of paintings at the Wentworth Gallery in Schaumburg, Illinois in July.
Stanley has been painting portraits and abstracts over the years and is ready to show his works. In his recent visit to Undercover, Paul talked about his paintings. "It's been incredible," he told Undercover News. "The response and the amount of people who have been acquiring the art has been insane. I would only hope for something like that if I was purely a painter".
Painting is a relatively new career for Stanley. "About 6 years ago I started painting when I was getting divorced," he said. "People immediately started to relate to the paintings even when they didn't know who had done them".
This year, as well as the solo tour, Stanley will be showing his paintings. "I started working more and this year I will have 12 gallery exhibitions," he said. "Obviously, to a degree, people come because it is me but nobody spends hard earned money if they don't love something. It has been incredible".
Paul will display his paintings at the Wentworth Gallery in Illinois on July 22 between 3 and 6pm.
