Professional tabloid target Nicole Richie to help host MTV's Video Music Awards in Australia alongside a bevy of stars.
For the third Australian Video Music Awards, they've lined up some A-List musicians to help host, alongside "professional celebrity" Nicole Richie. She will be in Australia at the end of April accompanying boyfriend Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.Madden will also help host the Awards. His brother Benji and his fianc??e Sophie Monk will assist superstar gossip blogger Perez Hilton on the red carpet. Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas will also appear.
Live performances come from Pink, currently on an extended tour throughout Australia, as well as erstwhile film star Jared Leto's emo rockers 30 Seconds To Mars and teen heartbreaker Teddy Geiger. Canadian punk rockers Bill Talent will also hit the stage alongside New Zealand pop-punkers Goodnight Nurse and inspirational rock trio Evermore.
Australian acts performing at the AVMAs include multi-platinum melodramatic rockers Eskimo Joe, club sensations Sneaky Sound System and a performance of TV Rock and Dukes Of Windsor's electroclash mash-up 'The Others'.
The 2007 MTV Video Music Awards will be held in Sydney on April 29.
