UK superstar DJs The Chemical Brothers announce details of new album, 'We Are The Night'.
The outfit are set to follow up their fourth consecutive UK number one album 'Push The Button' (which also won a Grammy for Best Electronic/Dance Album) with their sixth album 'We Are The Night'. They're already describing it as their finest effort to date. Of course.A press release states that the album was recorded in a bombproof South London bunker, and evokes "the dancefloors of Manchester and Minneapolis in the early '80s" and present-day London. Guests include The Klaxons, Fatlip, Midlake, Willy Mason and Ali Love.
The Brothers, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, noted that they snuck out a preview of the album on myspace under the name 'Electronic Battle Weapon' and have been road testing new tunes on stage over the last year. They have also announced that they're headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury in the middle of an extensive European tour and will hit the US in September.
'We Are The Night' will be released on June 19, preceded by single 'Do It Again' featuring Ali Love.
