Keith Richards has confirmed what was previously thought to be a another item in the long list of Richards myths - that he snorted the ashes of his father.
The admission will be published in this week's edition of British music rag 'NME', with a spokeswoman for the magazine claiming that it is not a late April Fool's joke."The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," Richards is quoted as saying.
"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow (cocaine). My dad wouldn't have cared. It went down pretty well and I'm still alive."
Bert Richards died in 2002 at the age of 84.
