U2 have rescheduled their cancelled Australian, New Zealand and Hawaiian dates for November this year.

The shows were the end of the U2//Vertigo world tour and were originally scheduled for March this year before a band's family member was struck down with illness.

It will be the first time U2 have played in Australia since Popmart swung by in 1997, which only hit four Australian cities (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth).

There will also be three shows added in Tokyo, Japan.

Fans who cannot make the rescheduled dates can get a refund from the point of purchase from today (July 21) to July 26. After this, refunded tickets will be made available to the public again.

Dates are:
November 7 - Brisbane, QSAC Stadium (originally March 21)
November 10 - Sydney, Telstra Stadium (originally March 31)
November 11 - Sydney, Telstra Stadium (originally April 1)
November 16 - Adelaide, AAMI Stadium (originally March 28)
November 18 - Melbourne, Telstra Dome (originally March 24)
November 19 - Melbourne, Telstra Dome (originally March 25)
November 24 - Auckland - Ericsson Stadium (originally March 17)
November 25 - Auckland - Ericsson Stadium (originally March 18)
November 29 - Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena (new date)
November 30 - Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena (new date)
December 4 - Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena (new date)
December 9 - Honolulu, Aloha Stadium (originally April 7)
