Australian artist Jen Cloher has returned with her third album In Blood Memory, out today via Milk! Records / Vitamin Records.
Written over six months, recorded over a period of six days and supported by fans via a crowdfunding campaign, it is the long awaited follow up to her critically acclaimed second album Hidden Hands.
In Blood Memory was recorded between September 2012 and January 2013 by Nick Higgins, with additional tracks recorded by Neil Thomason and Michael Hubbard. The album was produced by Jen Sholakis, Nick Huggins and Jen Cloher.
Jen Cloher has announced two very special launch parties in Sydney and Melbourne to celebrate the release of In Blood Memory. Cloher and her band will play Melbourne on Friday 28 June at The Corner Hotel with very special guests Ainslie Wills and Fraser A Gorman and in Sydney on Friday 12 July at the Oxford Art Factory with Melodie Nelson and Courtney Barnett.
