LA via Sydney modern rockers Sick Puppies storm the States.
It's been all systems go for the trio, originally from Sydney, who hit the jackpot on YouTube. Tired of slogging in their home country, the ambitious trio headed out to the US to record and play. Before they left their home town singer and guitarist Shimon Moore befriended Juan Mann, the now-familiar "Free Hugs" man.Their inspiring video featuring Juan and their song 'All The Same' rocketed them to the top of YouTube's most viewed list and to wider fame, appearing on Oprah, Jay Leno and CNN. Now, after a return tour of Australia through January where they performed on the legendary Big Day Out festival, the band headed back to their adopted nation to promote the new single 'My World' on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and The Late Show With David Letterman.
Sick Puppies are currently touring through the US, winding up in Georgia on March 31. But they've announced that they'll support fellow globetrotting Aussies Jet during the retro rockers US tour that kicks off on March 24 and runs until mid-May.
