The UK four-piece will be performing a special show at Sydney Metro Theatre on Thursday 18 April promoting their new single ‘Learn To Love Again’ next month.
Since releasing debut single ‘When She Was Mine’ in 2012 singer and guitarist Andy Brown, bassist Ryan Fletcher, lead guitarist Joel Peat and drummer Adam Pitts have swiftly made a name for themselves as a dance pop outfit for the masses. The band followed up with second single ‘Taking Over Me’ that managed to soar straight to the top 3 of the UK charts.
Debut album ‘Chapman Square’ was co-written by Andy and chronicles his own relationship breakdown. The album manages to find a delicate balance between rock and pop with the kind of bombastic guitars and lyrical anthems that echo the likes of The Script and Coldplay.
Supporting Lawson will be blossoming singer songwriter Sinead Burgess; the multi-instrumentalist sophisticated pop-rock sensibilities spotlight her as the perfect fit for Lawson.
