The Healesville Music Festival will this year run over two days in March in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
The strong and growing support from the local community has prompted a change of format for this year’s Festival will see an eclectic selection of local and Melbourne based artists and musicians perform across four local venues.
On the evening of Friday 22 Marchat the newly opened ‘The Memo’ - recently renovated Memo Hall - is featured artist The Woohoo Revue, Melbourne’s Eastern-European-esque jazz and swing gypsy band.
Check out the buskers as they compete for an afternoon spot at the Memo Hall early on Saturday 23 March. Join a traditional Poets Breakfast while you shake of a hangover and rest your dancing feet. Workshops, chalkboard concerts and a free outdoor stage sprinkled throughout the day will inspire the young and the young at heart.
Saturday afternoon and evening will see a further 21 bands join the festival across four great local venues. From toe-tapping country and western, story telling folk artists, vibrant bluegrass riffs and throbbing beats of African drumming there is something for everyone across the entire weekend. One ticket allows access to all performances in every venue - for $27.50 an adult which Undercover.fm thinks it's a bargain!
Performers include, The Woohoo Revue, Mustered Courage, The Stetson Family, The Little Stevies, Adam Eaton, The Ploughboys, Hugh McDonald and many more.
