Melbourne's upbeat funsters Saskwatch, have been busy captivating crowds, provocative parties wherever they turn up and selling out their début album tour. In the later part of last year Saskwatch crammed into the studio with Mikey Young to put down their latest track 'I Get Lonely'.
A twangy, garage rock triumph with a coarseness that nestles up against their soulful sound nicely - Undercover.fm loves its rapid and engaging energy. Nkechi Anele's determined soaring voice joins the surf rock rhythms and melodic horns. It's an all-round addictive jaunt that'll have you uncontrollably jiving and boogieing.
'I Get Lonely' is a one-off, non-album single released through Northside Records with the Brain Children (Mikey Young and Max Kohane) remix of 'Your Love' as the b-side. Vinyl pre-sale versions will be available real soon on bandcamp.com.
Saskwatch will be out and about on tour this April, Undercover.fm expects nothing but the best from these nine talented entertainers. Expect to be dancing the night away, sweaty and blissful and wanting to learn some sort of brass instrument so you can join in the fun.
