Kingfisha, Brisbane’s reggae, bass-loving outfit, will be out in force supporting their new single, ‘Digging For Fire’. The highly acclaimed self-titled album will get its third and final outing on this tour so make sure you check them out.
The ‘Digging For Fire’ tour will be one undercover.fm can’t wait to see, starting this March, the band will be teaming up with Brisbane comrades, Dubmarine, for double-headline shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney & Byron Bay.
‘Digging For Fire' - a bogeling reggae groove and a stripped-back soul highlighting what they do best - grinding your body like a single, desperate middle-aged women at the office Christmas party. Vocally akin to Fat Freddy’s Drop with commanding dub-reggae sounds of Kiwi hip-movers The Black Seeds mixed in for good measure. If you think the Easy Star All-Stars try too hard then these Aussie dubsters are going to have you much more than your pelvis moving!
The single ‘Digging For Fire’ and the album ‘Kingfisha’ are out now through Vital Signs Records/Vitamin.
