Harmony are set to release brand-new limited-edition 7” single Do Me A Favour. To celebrate this they’ll be playing the John Curtain Hotel in Melbourne, Friday 5 April - Undercover.fm can't wait.
Since the release of their self-titled debut album in 2011, Harmony have staked their place in Melbourne’s music scene with a strange brew of soaring blues with gospel vocals and downbeat rhythms. For Harmony, Do Me A Favour is more positive than preceding offerings yet singer Tom Lyngcoln’s vocals are primal, raw and ear-crashingly animalistic - if that was possible. It’s Australian gothic without being bloodcurdlingly obvious - the sheer murkiness adds the band’s song writing ability - sinister yet soulful.
With support from The Stevens and Mere Women, Undercover.fm urges you to go see what all the fuss is about. Do Me A Favour is available through the band's very own label Solar/Sonar.
Friday 5 April @ The John Curtain Hotel, Melbourne. Tickets available at www.johncurtainhotel.com
