One of the year’s most eclectic tours will kick off later this month when Simple Minds, Devo and Australia’s The Church play a run of shows around the country both indoors and outdoors.
DiscLive Network, in cooperation with EMI Music Australia, will be offering punters the opportunity to purchase live recordings of both the Simple Minds and Devo sets at merchandise stands immediately after each show.
They will be fully mastered, full quality double audio CDs, packaged in high quality digipaks and individually numbered to make them collector’s items. These are strictly limited edition, and once they are gone, that's it. Simple Minds will also be offering a Deluxe Edition that features a brand new "rockumentary" style interview with Jim Kerr by US radio personality Redbeard. The DEVO discs will also feature a 1978 never-before-released UK concert.
Fans can pre order the CD’s from www.disclivenetwork.com at a discount, or they can purchase a voucher from the merchandise stands at any time during the show which may then be redeemed for the CD sets before leaving.
