The third lineup announcement for SOUNDWAVE looks like it might have done the trick. Soundwave is the first festival set on a future date to sell out all over Australia.
275,000 fans will participate in the Soundwave Festival in 2013 at around 1 of 5 venues in Australia. If you look at the lineup it confirms something that many punters have been saying for years..."Death to all but metal..." and that's any kind of metal...hair metal, industrial metal, punk metal, screamo metal, original metal, electro metal, glamma metal, gansta metal, geek metal,wanker metal, soft metal, pissweak metal, indie metal, dance metal, metal from the mouth of Yogsogeth, indie pop metal, swamp metal, garage metal, bee pop a lula metal, shit metal, nu metal... the list goes on...
The only band on the Soundwave lineup I am having a hardtime pigeonholing with a genre of metal is Garbage. Maybe "Not metal at all metal ?"
