The Griswolds have been announced as the Sydney winners in Triple J's Unearthed Parklife 2012 competition, and will play alongside Passion Pit, The Presets and Nero on Sunday 30th September, at Centennial Park.
It's no small wonder considering the success of their debut single Mississippi which received strong support on triple J and FBi radio - while also being heavily featured on influential blogs both in Australia and overseas. Follow-up single Heart Of A Lion (pictured above) was added to high rotation on triple j and has spent 9 weeks thus far on said rotation.
The kicker is that they only formed in February !!!! With a new single and debut EP slated for release on September 28 - the family immortalized in Chevy Chase's iconic road trip movies of the 80s - are gonna be ones to keep your eye on.
