I don't know about anyone else but I seem to wake up every morning singing the Crazy Horse version of " Oh Susannah" (from the 2012 release " Americana") in my head.... Looks like I have some more internal singing to look forward to in October.
It only seems like yesterday, June 2012 infact, that Neil Young and Crazy Horse returned with " Americana" their first studio album in 9 years and the first one in 16 years to feature the full Crazy Horse line-up of Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Frank "Poncho" Sampedro.
Obviously Neil Young and Crazy Horse are peaking creatively at the moment with a new album recorded straight after "Americana" and set for release in October, coinciding with the commencement of their North American Tour.
Titled "Psychedelic Pill," the second album for 2012 was recorded at at Audio Casa Blanca. The album will be released on a double-CD and triple-vinyl as a result of the length of songs included on the album. Some of which were previewed in Crazy Horse's live performances in early August at Red Rocks. Checkout a performance of Powderfinger at Red Rocks below .
