According to Pussy Riots twitter account two activist members of the group who are currently wanted by Russian police have takin' a ride outta Russia. Hmmm that could be a good song title....Russian band or not.
The twitter update on the account titled Pussy Riot Group explains that," In regard to the pursuit, two of our members have successfully fled the country! They are recruiting foreign feminists to prepare new actions!"
According to the husband of jailed Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, the pair are in a safe place out of reach of the Russian police. One would then assume they are out of Russia and in a land that does not have an extradition treaty with Russia.
Jailed members of Pussy Riot Maria Alyokhina, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Yekaterina Samutsevich were found guilty of "hooliganism motivated by religious hatred" and are currently appealing their two year sentence.
