Eminem has been asked to testify at a hearing in Ireland following the cancellation of his 2005 Slane Castle show.
80,000 tickets were sold to the show which sold-out in one hour. Promoter MCD is after $2 million from his London based insurance companies.The Slane Castle show was to take place on September 17, 2005. Eminem cancelled the show when he booked into rehab although at the time it was said to be exhaustion.
The 10 date European tour was also cancelled.
Eminem did not make good on the shows at a later date.
The Irish judge wants Eminem to personally testify at the hearing.
