Slash said " Sesame Street have never approached me, though I would do it and I love kids..” After all, Slash has appeared with pretty much every other celebrity in the known universe, why not with Big Bird and Oscar The Grouch?
“There’s no way I’d ever turn Sesame Street down, but I don’t know if parents would think I’m the best public influence on little kids?” Given Sesame Street’s past guests have included the freebasing Richard Pryor, the censor-baiting Katy Perry and the ostrich-punching Johnny Cash, it seems there is no better time than right now for Slash to make his own rock & roll contribution to Sesame Street.
