Bears With Guns hail from the popular holiday destintation and home to Australia’s largest Elvis Festival, Parkes. They are a 5 piece and have set themsleves apart with the use of ecceltic instruments such as the cajon, djembe mandolin and ukele.
'Taken For A Fool' is also the name of the bands debut single which was produced by award-winning Wayne Connolly. The same Wayne Connolly of The Vines, Josh Pyke and Sarah Blasko production credit claim and Aria Award winning fame for 'Hourly Daily' by You Am I, 'Forever Young' by Youth Group and two awards for 'Memories and Dust' by Josh Pyke.
The partnership between BWG and Wayne Connelly sounds like it might be a successful one if the song "Taken for A Fool" is any indication. You will have to purchase the E.P to confirm this notion, as I can only attest to the one song and it would be foolish to assume every song on the E.P is as good, without having heard said E.P
