BerserkerfoX returned with their second studio EP, NEW WORLD MURDER, on March 11th via Ovis Records (Norway). It's been a liitle while but they have just announced the NEW WORLD MURDER Tour Australia 2012.
The E.P has been described thus by Peter Hodgson - Crunch! Beat Magazine " Seriously. It fucking doesn't let up. Killer guitar work – it's hard to make harmonies that sound foreboding and dark instead of pretty and skippy – edge-of-insanity vocals, ridiculous blast beats – punchy production – it's four tracks of deathy death of the deathiest variety.." There can't be a better review of death metal than that, can there? The press release describes the E.P as " 4 cuts of aggresive death metal about anarachy against the cold, cut throat world we live in. The lyrics stem from a deep-seated fascination with underground and alternative issues around the greed of corporations, the way they blind us with repetitive marketing techniques, government certified chemicals in our food, satanic symbolism and ancient archaeology from Egypt" I'm glad they explained that, I would love to say I am able to decipher death metal lyrics, but I can't and I salute anyone who can.
Anyhoo, the big news from the BerserkerfoX camp is that they will be heading off on a tour in August that will take in a couple of regional centres in Victoria, Canberra (our nations premiere regional centre) and a couple of shows in Newtown Sydney at The Town Hall Hotel and the Sando.
