Newly created imprint label FOUR | FOUR, which operates under the ABC Music banner, has just signed Melbourne band Boy In A Box.
Boy In A Box was formed late 2010 when front man Tobias 'Tij' Priddle took a job building recording studios and wrote 'Moon Comes Up' for a Blue September cancer awareness campaign on which his boss was helping out. The band were payed on high rotation at triple j and community radio including 'Moon Comes Up', 'Glitter, Gold, Ruin' and 'Longest Road'.
The band is back , bigger and better armed with a new EP. On My Mind is the first single and title track from the new EP and will be available Monday 4th June. The single was mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Bloc Party, Hot Hot Heat).
The 4 track EP titled 'On My Mind' was recorded at Birdland Studios by Melbourne producer Lindsay Gravina (Adalita, Rowland S Howard, The Living End) and will be released Friday 6th July.
