Kate Bush has won the prestigous pop award at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards ceromony for her album "50 Words For Snow."
It comes as a double wammy for Adele this week as Jack White's "Blunderbuss" overtakes her number 1 album position on the U.K charts for "21".
Kate beat fellow nominees Adele for "21" and PJ Harvey for "Let England Shake" and was presented her award by Sir Tom Jones. The album " 50 Words For Snow" is the first album to contain a completely new songs since 2005 when she released Aerial.
