In the past Pepsi have used music to try and connect with the youth, using artists such as Michael Jackson, MC Hammer, Britney Spears and Beyonce.
The number 2 Cola company have announced a partnership with Twitter to provide streaming videos of live music concerts to Pepsi's followers on the social networking site. No news yet as to which artists will feature, although their new global add campaign features Nicki Minaj. The details of the deal will be announced shortly with the first concert to be streamed in June 2012. Given their past and current choices, don't hold your breath about a real band being featured.
