Ex-pat rockers Jet plan a national tour in April and May.
'Shine On' the single, from their platinum album of the same name, will be released on March 17. The song was written by Nic Cester about his and drummer Chris' father John. John Cester passed away from cancer in August 2004 and his death informed the mood of the album. The song has already been featured on the finale of 'The OC' and has already been added heavily to radio.Jet performed at last year's Make Poverty History show, did a Melbourne show on a barge on the Yarra and toured with the Big Day Out but this is an opportunity to see a full show. The band are currently touring the UK and have a long US tour planned before they come home. An Adelaide show on June 9 is still to be properly announced.
